History
Canadian owned, and operating in Toronto for almost 30 years, City Sightseeing Toronto has grown to become Canada’s largest double decker hop-on hop-off Operator. Since 1997 we have been showcasing Toronto and Niagara Falls with hop-on hop-off tours, day trips and cruises.
Land Acknowledgement
There are more than 40 treaties and agreements that cover the territory now called Ontario. Toronto is located on the traditional territory of many nations, including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishinaabek Nation, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, and the Wendat peoples. This territory is covered by Treaty 13 signed with the Mississaugas of the Credit and the Williams Treaties signed with multiple Mississaugas and Chippewa bands.. Today, Toronto, also known as “Tkaronto” (meaning “the place in the water where the trees are standing”) is home to many Indigenous people from across Turtle Island.
