This weekend, some of Toronto’s best art will be found not inside of an art gallery, but on the street!  The annual Bloor-Yorkville Ice Fest is on this weekend, with plenty of spectacular ice artwork that has to be seen to be believed!

This year’s edition of Ice Fest will feature plenty of family-friendly entertainment.  The always-spectacular ice carving competition will take place on February 22 in the Village of Yorkville Park.  Carvers will create their finest work, which will be judged by audience members throughout the course of the afternoon.  The winner will be announced in the evening.  There will also be numerous non-competitive ice carving demonstrations taking place throughout the course of the weekend.  Attendees will also have the opportunity to win several prize packages that feature free goods and services from local Yorkville businesses.  It’s going to be a great weekend at the Bloor-Yorkville Ice Fest!

To get to Yorkville, take CitySightseeing Toronto’s hop on hop off city tour to stop # 5.
